Fatal Car Accident in Atchison County, MO on November 10, 2024

A tragic accident occurred near the Iowa-Missouri border early Sunday morning, November 17th, 2024, claiming the lives of three individuals and injuring three others. Complicating the accident further, a Volvo Tractor Trailer driven by a 30-year-old man from Ontario, Canada, attempted to avoid the initial crash, impacting a subsequent vehicle, a 2023 Chevy Tahoe driven by a 32-year-old man from Tabor, Iowa. The Chevy's driver sustained minor injuries, while a 1-year-old passenger in the Kia suffered moderate injuries, both requiring medical attention. The Canadian truck driver emerged unharmed.
