Two men from Zephyrhills died at the scene of a two-car collision on U.S. 301 just north of Stacy Road in Florida on October 19, 2026, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m. and involved a southbound Kia Rio and a northbound Dodge Avenger. Troopers said the Kia’s driver, a 55-year-old man, entered the northbound lane while attempting to pass other vehicles. The Kia moved into the path of the Dodge, which was being driven by a 26-year-old man. The impact was nearly head-on.
