A 44-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash on US-60 near Ridgeway Circle, east of Neosho, on October 25, 2026. An eastbound Jeep Cherokee left the road, overturned and struck a utility pole. The Newton County crash was reported shortly before 8 p.m.

A 44-year-old man was ejected from a Jeep Cherokee and pronounced dead at the scene of a rollover crash on US-60 near Ridgeway Circle, east of Neosho, on Sunday, October 25, 2026. The single-vehicle crash occurred in Newton County, Missouri.

Reports of the crash came in shortly before 8 p.m. The Jeep was traveling east when it left the right side of the highway and began to overturn. It struck a utility pole, bringing down the pole and lines, before stopping a few feet from a home.

Neosho firefighters, Newton County deputies and Newton County Ambulance personnel responded to the scene. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was also notified.

The Newton County coroner took custody of the driver's body. A towing crew was called to remove the wrecked Jeep and debris.
