A 49-year-old man died in a hit-and-run involving a pickup truck near the 1000 block of Road E in Schuyler, Nebraska, just after midnight Sunday, October 25, 2026, according to police.
Officers found the man along the north side of the road. Authorities have not released his name.
The Schuyler Police Department is seeking a white or light-colored Ford F-150 in connection with the crash. Police said the pickup was last seen traveling west on Road E toward Road 10.
Investigators described several areas of damage that could help identify the vehicle. The pickup is expected to have damage around the front passenger-side area, a broken or damaged passenger-side mirror, and additional damage along the passenger side.
