A 17-year-old passenger died after a three-vehicle crash on Summit Boulevard in West Palm Beach on Tuesday afternoon, June 2. Authorities said the collision happened around 1:33 p.m. in the 5500 block of Summit Boulevard and involved a Tesla Model 3, a Mack dump truck, and a GMC Yukon.
Investigators said the Tesla was traveling eastbound in the left lane while the dump truck was also headed eastbound and beginning a southbound turn down a canal bank to deliver materials. A GMC Yukon was traveling westbound on Summit Boulevard at the same time.
According to authorities, the Tesla struck the left rear of the dump truck and was then redirected into the westbound lanes, where it collided with the Yukon. The passenger who suffered fatal injuries was identified as Aiden Hill, 17. The fatality time was listed as 1:39 p.m.
The Tesla driver suffered minor injuries, and the Yukon driver was also reported to have minor injuries. Authorities said the dump truck driver was not hurt. No criminal charges were listed in the initial report, and the crash was documented by the investigating traffic division.
Because this was a fatal crash involving multiple vehicles on Summit Boulevard, additional records such as the full crash report and any follow-up investigative findings may help families and injured people understand what happened. Keeping medical paperwork, insurance correspondence, photos, and any witness information can also be important while the investigation continues.
We are deeply saddened for the family of Aiden Hill and everyone affected by this fatal crash on Summit Boulevard in West Palm Beach. In the days after a serious collision, families often need to gather the crash report, medical records, insurance communications, and other documentation while they wait for more information from investigators. If questions come up about wrongful death issues, injury claims, or preserving evidence, speaking with a West Palm Beach car accident lawyer may help clarify the next steps without adding pressure during an already difficult time.
