Investigators said a 78-year-old Orlando man was driving a 2022 Subaru Outback eastbound on Iowa Woods Circle and had stopped at the stop sign before trying to turn left to head north on Landstar Boulevard. During that turn, the Subaru entered the path of a 2009 Honda Civic that was traveling southbound on Landstar Boulevard, according to authorities.

The Honda struck the front left side of the Subaru. After the impact, the Honda continued and hit a tree nearby. Officials said the Subaru driver and his passenger, a 49-year-old Orlando woman, were among those hospitalized. The report indicated that all five people involved in the wreck were transported for treatment.
