A serious two-car crash left four people injured Tuesday night in Pasco County at the intersection of County Line Road and Firewheel Drive.
The collision happened at about 9:09 p.m. and involved a Mercedes sedan traveling westbound on County Line Road and a BMW sedan traveling eastbound on the same road. According to authorities, the Mercedes was turning left at Firewheel Drive when it entered the path of the BMW. The vehicles then collided in the intersection.
After the impact, both cars rotated toward the southeast and struck a road sign before coming to rest at a brick wall.
All four occupants from the two vehicles suffered serious injuries and were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Reported victims included two teenagers, ages 15 and 16, as well as a 20-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman.
