Austin Tangen, 28, of Gautier, was killed in a two-motorcycle collision on I-10 in Jackson County, Mississippi, on October 24, 2026. The crash occurred around 11 p.m., and the other motorcyclist was not injured. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating.

Austin Tangen, 28, of Gautier, was killed in a collision involving two motorcycles on Interstate 10 in Jackson County, Mississippi, on Saturday, October 24, 2026, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at about 11 p.m. Tangen was traveling west on a 2025 Kawasaki ZX-10 with another motorcyclist when the two motorcycles collided, authorities said.

Tangen was pronounced dead at the scene. The other motorcyclist was not injured.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol said Monday, October 26, that the crash remained under investigation.
