A 34-year-old man from Lake City lost his life in a tragic motorcycle accident on Sunday afternoon along West 12th Street in Millcreek Township. The incident occurred at approximately 2:11 p.m. in the 3000 block of West 12th Street, as confirmed by Erie County 911 dispatch. The motorcyclist, identified as Cody M. Price, was reportedly struck by a black 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander when its driver made a right turn from Harper Drive.
According to Millcreek Township Police Chief Carter Mook, Price was traveling east on West 12th Street when the collision occurred. Following the impact, Price was rushed to UPMC Hamot, where he was pronounced dead in the operating room shortly after 3:28 p.m. The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 49-year-old man from Greene Township, fortunately did not sustain any injuries in the crash.
