Glenville Woman Alexandria McCumber Charged After Serious Wrong Way Car Accident in Albany on October 16, 2024

A Glenville woman is facing serious charges after a dramatic wrong-way crash on the Thruway in Albany, New York, early Saturday morning. Alexandria M. McCumber, 29, was allegedly driving northbound in the southbound lanes on Interstate 87 when she collided with another vehicle on I-90 eastbound just after 1 a.m. on October 12, 2024. Both drivers sustained severe injuries and had to be extricated from their vehicles, later being transported to Albany Medical Center, where they were reported to be in critical but stable condition.
