A Nampa man was arrested following a devastating crash on September 27 that resulted in the death of a 26-year-old woman, Brook L. Taylor. The Nampa Police Department reported that the collision occurred around 11 p.m. at the intersection of North Middleton Road and Smith Avenue. Emergency responders arrived to find two vehicles involved, one having struck a pole. Taylor was quickly transported to a local hospital but, unfortunately, succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter.
The driver of the other vehicle, 24-year-old Shaeden I. Robinson, also received medical attention for his injuries before being taken into police custody. He has been charged with felony vehicular manslaughter and felony aggravated DUI. Chief Joe Huff of the Nampa Police stated, “A young woman lost her life last night because a young man chose to drive impaired.”
