Two people were hospitalized following a rollover accident on Route 195E in New Bedford yesterday afternoon. The crash occurred just before 4 p.m. when emergency responders from the New Bedford Fire Department arrived to find a gas cylinder delivery truck that had overturned. This unfortunate incident resulted in significant debris on the highway, as cylinders containing oxygen, acetylene, argon, nitrogen, and LPG were strewn across the area, although many remained secured on the truck.
The emergency team had to extricate two adults trapped in their vehicle underneath the overturned truck.
