In a tragic accident on a rural Kansas highway, a Lawrence man lost his life while his wife and toddler are recovering from their injuries. Novotny, and their 3-year-old daughter when the truck collided broadside with their vehicle. William Novotny, sadly, was pronounced dead at the scene.
